Dear maximus3d,

you did a very nice job creating this application. I only have one question concerning the drag and drop of components.

Is there a possibility to nest a component "inside" another, for example a button inside a panel. By now it is place inside the application (for example) on the same level as the panel instead of a sub level.

The only workaround I know is to edit the mxml outpout manually and refresh the design view.

Is it possible to add a shortcut key to nest the component "inside" the underlying component (for instance holding Ctrl or Shift while dropping) or is there even yet another way of doing this?

Greets

    Hi Matthias,

Thanks for your interest in further improving the designview.

At the moment you can drag only a new component on top of the existing one in order to have it nested (without modifying mxml).

But I will keep your request in mind. May be it is a good idea to reorder components by dragging and holding down CTRL key.

    Regards,
    Max.

    This is Matthias, back online.

OK, so I did nothing wrong and it is a feature lack. Good to know ;-)

Greets to you, have a nice time
