Could it be possible to take the first sentence to the
period as the short description instead of the first line?
Like in JavaDoc.

ok, you are right about the JavaDoc specification.
The problem is that I think I will not handle (for the moment)
embedded HTML tags, so I will parse line by line the source
code.

BUT, I will think about adding an option to end the summary
after the first sentence.
