Hi, we have a project going on and we need a HTML renderer. Obviously deng would be a great choice. But we need to be able to create our own tags. We have html wherein inputfields/dropfields/... should be rendered. We also need access to these custom tags.=20 =20 I didn't find any well documented examples on this issue. Can anybody help me with this. How do you create a custom tag?=20 =20 Thx, Lieven Cardoen =20 Vriendelijke groeten, Lieven Cardoen PointX Multimedia Engelse Wandeling 2 K18 8500 Kortrijk Tel. 056 361197 Fax 056 35 26 48 www.pointx.be <http://www.pointx.be/>=20 =20 |

Hello, I plan to kick off a new XForms Titan Interview series this fall (that is, in about two weeks). Let me know if anyone is interested in volunteering to get interviewed and wants to share your XForms experience, success stories and challenges. To see what it's all about see the interview page at the XUL Alliance site @ http://xul.sourceforge.net/interviews.html that will serve as a model. Also I invite you to suggest what XForms celebrities/developers you want to see interviewed. Mark Birbeck? Claus Wahlers? Joern Turner? Micah Dubinko? Mikko Honkala? Steven Pemberton? T. V. Raman? Any suggestions are welcome. - Gerald --------------------------- Gerald Bauer Rich Client Conference (RichCon) 2005 - http://richcon.com ______________________________________________________________________ Post your free ad now! http://personals.yahoo.ca |

We should try and get the best that we can out of Flash accessibility capabilities [1].. Where I work they already use Jaws for testing so we would have a way to test the screenreader-friendly DENG too.. ciao ste [1] <http://www.markme.com/accessibility/archives/005515.cfm> |

for the archives:
the <repeat> toolbar
this is a hack, as we are not able to render unrolled repeats yet (this
is due to a missing live dom in deng, and planned for the 1.5 release).
so for now we add a toolbar to the repeat element, allowing the user to
browse the items and see the current index and total number of items.
the <repeat> toolbar is internally created from this markup:
<table class='_xforms_repeat'
xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'
xmlns:dengxf='http://www.w3.org/2002/xforms/cr'
xmlns:dengev='http://www.w3.org/2001/xml-events'>
<tr>
<!-- "prev" trigger -->
<td class='_xforms_repeat_td_prev'>
<dengxf:trigger>
<dengxf:label><</dengxf:label>
<dengxf:setindex repeat='$rI'
index='if(index(\"$rI\")=1,1,index(\"$rI\")-1)'
dengev:event='click'/>
</dengxf:trigger>
</td>
<!-- current index -->
<td class='_xforms_repeat_td_index'>
<dengxf:output value='index(\"$rI\")' />
</td>
<!-- "of" -->
<td class='_xforms_repeat_td_of'><span>of</span></td>
<!-- total -->
<td class='_xforms_repeat_td_total'>
<dengxf:output value='last()' />
</td>
<!-- "next" trigger -->
<td class='_xforms_repeat_td_next'>
<dengxf:trigger>"
<dengxf:label>></dengxf:label>
<dengxf:setindex repeat='$rI'
index='if(index(\"$rI\")=last(),last(),index(\"$rI\")+1)'
dengev:event='click'/>
</dengxf:trigger>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
it thus can be styled by css.
here's a default stylesheet for the repeat toolbar:
http://claus.packts.net/css/deng_xforms.css
real life example using repeat:
http://claus.packts.net/deng/deng_test.php?f=examples/xforms/foaf/foaf.html
css used in this example:
http://claus.packts.net/deng/examples/xforms/foaf/foaf.css
that very same example, ignoring all author styles and adding the
default stylesheet for the repeat toolbar as user stylesheet:
http://claus.packts.net/deng/deng_test.php?f=examples/xforms/foaf/foaf.html&u=/css/deng_xforms.css&ias=1
cheers,
claus.

thank you man!!!!! Gonna test it imemdiately! :-) the flash ide shipped with a very old version of the player 6 and it still uses that one even if you installed more recent ones on your browsers, many things don't show correctly in the ide player but afaik everything shows perfectly on a decently recent version of the fp6 ciao ste Claus Wahlers wrote: > i added support for text-align > sources are committed to the cvs > > http://claus.packts.net/deng/deng_test.php?f=examples/xhtml/textalign.html > > btw is it possible that background/border styles are ignored in fp6? > i tested deng in the flash ide (fp6 there) and background colors and > borders didn't show :/ > cheers, > claus. > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials > Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of > GenToo technologies. Hey all, I've just submitted a patch on SourceForge to add support for the font shorthand attribute in DENG. This partially fixes Bug #895455. At present, I've left out support for the line-height attribute as I don't quite know how to parse it, though I'm going to look up the W3C Recommendations later today to find out. It appears that it may obscure number and length values for font-weight and font-size, respectively, so I'm leaving it out until I can figure out how to parse it correctly. Does anyone know? Regards, Jim |
