I have begun work on writing some object orienated classes to form the base of the dD libraries. I decided to use the adodb (http://adodb.sourceforge.net) libraries as a basis for a database abstraction layer. This should help keep dD database independent. I am working on basic templates for object types, sessions, configuration and things like that, and once I have a firm extensible object model to work with, I can start on the interface side of things.
