This is a brief explanation of how to use Delete Forever and what it does.
What Does It Do:
Delete Forever adds a item to your system's context menu that when clicked runs a command that will delete the selected file permanently and bypasses the Recycle Bin.
Use Case:
You delete a file so nobody else that uses your computer will see it and you forget to empty the recycle bin. The other person opens the recycle bin, restores the file, and sees what you deleted.
If you use Delete Forever this couldn't happen, since the tool deletes the file permanently instead of placing it in the recycle bin like the system's default delete feature.
How It Works:
The setup extracts 2 files to your program files folder then runs "install.reg" to install. They are called Registry Files. One of them installs Delete Forever by inserting 2 lines into the system registry telling the system to run a delete command and passing it the location of the file you have selected. This then permanently deletes the selected file. The other file removes those 2 commands from the registry for uninstillation.
A couple prompts will apear when you install and uninstall, this is telling you that there are commands being inserted into the registry. This is the default behavior of Windows and ive decided not to hide them at this point. If you do not allow it to insert the commands, Delete Forever will not be able to install.
Uninstallation:
To uninstall Delete Forever go to the following folder (select the one for the operating system you have),
32Bit - C:\Program Files\Delete Forever
64Bit - C:\Program Files(x86)\Delete Forever
Once you are in the folder simply double click "uninstall.reg".
