Why Deepin Kylin Reboot?
I enjoy Deepin and other Asian Linux distributions, and I wanted to continue the work of the original project after its development ended in 2023. I fixed the ISO issues, updated the system packages, and restored full functionality to make the distribution reliable and usable again.
Deepin Kylin Reboot is a community-driven Linux distribution that combines the elegance of the Deepin Desktop Environment (DDE) with the stability of Ubuntu and Kylin technologies. The project focuses on delivering a modern, visually appealing, and user-friendly desktop experience while maintaining excellent performance and hardware compatibility.
Designed for both newcomers and experienced Linux users, Deepin Kylin Reboot provides a complete out-of-the-box system with carefully selected applications, multimedia support, customization options, and regular updates. The goal is to offer a polished desktop operating system suitable for daily use, education, office.
