Hello peoples,
Reading the suggestions gave me an interesting idea. The idea isn't for Decker, just a spin-off.
Decker Admin puts you in charge of a website in the matrix. Firstly, you purchase and arrange your nodes, including the new Public Node. Next purchase programs, ICEs to keep the public out of deeper reaches of your system and UIs (user interfaces) that remain in Public Nodes when idle for users to interact with.
You make money by selling products, services and advertising to users. Of course, Deckers try to hack your system, indistinguishable from public users. If they access sensitive information, they can blackmail you, you can be sued, or they can shutdown your system causing loss of income and reputation. If you successfully trace them, you have the opportunity to return the favour.
Via the Admin Node, you can safely browse your system and red alerts appear on your map. If your Admin Node is disabled by a hacker, you have to Deck into your system and risk your brain to remove the hacker threat and reenable the Admin Node.
As your reputation grows, you are contracted to maintain more sensitive information and IO systems which require larger systems and higher-ranked software.
Any thoughts on this?
