#57 unable to register
During the installation of the newest beta 2.4.1.2 I
received the following message:
Error 1904 module C:\Program Files\Decal\DecalDat.dll
failed to register. HRESULT -2147024770. Contact
your Support personel.
This occured for all of the following dll's:
DecalControls.dll
Decal.dll
DecalDat.dll
Decalfilters.dll
DecalInput.dll
Decalnet.dll
Inject.dll
Plaintext.dll
I have a brand new P4 laptop with XP pro and the
updates are all current.
I can install the previous version ok and all the dll's
register just fine. Also I have tried manually registering
those files and receive the same error message. Lastly
I have downloaded the beta version from different mirrors
and the result is the same. I thought I would bring this
to your attention.

I am unable to install any version of decal (but particularly ver.
2.5.0.1) on a P4, 512 ddr ram, 2GHz, radeon 128mb tx graphics
card, windows xp home ed. computer and I'm getting the same
unable to register problem. The error allows you to continue
installing which when you do continue, decal installation
completes but when it tries to run it sends a pop up message that
says unble to create object...or something like that. My updates
are current and I am using internet explorer 6. If anyone has
any advice my email is profgreenthum@aol.com
