Hello,
First of all I'd like to thank you for writing
such a great tool! I use some great pluggins your
product has made possible to use. There has been an
error since the september Patch, related to a code/value
of spells that fizzle. The artical can be found on the
nerfus buffus home page. Here is the extract
Along with the September patch, Turbine retired game
event 0x001C (Action Failure) and replaced it with a new
packet that basically does the same thing but provides a
little more information. That caused NB2 to stop
detecting fails, so it had to fallback on the safety
timeouts to detect fizzles (they'd get caught by what is
normally a 'dud': the action complete packet was
received, but no packet to indicate if the spell worked or
failed).
I use a buffbot software that uses that particular action
code, if it detects a fizzle, it recasts the spell. Since
Sept patch this code doesn't work anymore. The maker
of the buffbot program that I use no longer supports or
releases any other revisions of the program. I was
hoping that decal could solve this backward compatiblity
issue by putting an interpiter in between decal and other
programs need that code. For instance, when decal
recieves the new fail code, it can interput it and write the
old repsonse code so the pluggin will work properly.
Perhaps this could be an option that can be disabled or
enabled (use old fail code check box or somthing). If you
need any help testing, I can do it. Also, an email
reponse would be great whether or not it can be done, or
if you even want todo it.
Thanks for your time and a great program.
