#85 AC Crashing to Destop on Entrance

Decal version 2.31+ (using 2.3.1.8 atm)

Running Nerfus Buffus, ImpSelect,Alert,Sortit (latest)
Latest Filters

It worked fine until I downloaded and installed the latest
DirectXSDK (8.1b) in Debug mode. I went in to my
DirectX control (in the control Panel) and tried changing
it to "Retail", but to no avail.

Is there any resolution other than Updating XP with the
service packs?
