I am having problems installing any version of decal,
I would download the file and the file does download.
Then when I run it there is some box that pops up
(but the last few times I have done it it hasn't) so
fast that I can't even read what it says but it looks
like it has several buttons on it.
After that I get the mouse busy symbol but nothing
from there happens. I have tried with the recent
version of decal (v2.2) and the earlier version
(v2.1.0.5). I also had v 2.1.0.5 installed but had
uninstalled it before installing v 2.2 if that may be
the problem.
I am running -Windows XP -1.6Ghz -256meg RAM-
internet explorer 6 -Geforce 2 video card
Just figured that it might be asked later

I had this same problem--this may be a possible fix for
you if your Decal download is not corrupted.
Open the .exe file with WinRAR and extract the .msi
within. Click on the .msi and it should install fine!
Perhaps the devs can re-build the .exe, or simply release
the .msi itself on sourceforge.

Ok this sounds like a plan. I have never been able to
open the decal files on my XP machine. Double click a
fast flash then nothing. I find a "msi" file in remove
programs, but it is missing.
What is WinRAR and how do I use it in the fashion
suggested.
