bugs in question also happen when the problem plugins
are running by themselves)
Using Drakier's windowed mode and dual clients
I've had problems with both El Tank and ACTrade when
using dual clients and windowed mode (I believe this is a
dual client problem). When I was even just using a
single client and had an empty directory called "2" in the
main AC folder, ACTrade was giving me an error that I
did not have a key bound to a certain function. I, in
fact, did. I could only correct this error by copying over
the main AC directory into the "2" folder.
With El Tank, I've been having problems with the El Nav
function and combat. I have to go into each individual
client and set the keymap to default (even if it was
already at default) in order for those to work. If I do
not, the keys that should be sent to one window, are
being sent to another window. For example, if a buff
buddy (person A) hands items to person B for buffing,
person B should send tells to person A saying their EQ
was added. What was happening was, person A was
sending the tell to itself. In another test instance, I had
El Nav in client A set to follow client B, but instead of
client A following, the movements were being sent to
client B so it was sort of trying to follow itself. Also,
archer combat will not work unless I change the keymap
to default even if it was at default.
I've been told that decal is having problems unless you
have indentical keymaps in both folders. But, I'm also
having the problem if I have only the default keymaps in
both folders.
Perhaps you have some suggestions or maybe there is
indeed a bug.
Thank you
