Dear Altynay, I had the same error and fixed it. I found out that my ado/ folder did not have a personal/ folder in it. I created the personal folder manually and ran ldea.do again and the error was gone. You can try that.

Hello all togehter, I am trying to use the Stata extension dea_sbm. I have downloaded the file dea_sbm.ado here https://sourceforge.net/p/deas/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/ and placed it in my personal Stata folder in the folder "d". The dea_sbm.ado file is in the same folder as the dea.ado file. The DEA command can be executed in Stata. However, I have also installed it directly via Stata. Dear Choonjoo and all the members of this community : I am estimating the Malmquist Index and all works ell. My question is simple: when before using the command malmq I run ldea.do, does this do file estimate the DEA scores based on a technology with constant returns to scale, variable returns to scale or both? Hi Marisa, I also use DEA now for my research. Could you please tell more about how exactly we can install the most recent ado files? I mean should we put the "dea.ado" in the "ado>base>d" folder and the "ldea.ado" in the "ado>base>l" folder? How about the "malmq", did you also use it, or just with the dea.ado? I once tried to use a dataset that has 2148 dmus and weights 176 KB, but it took too long. I would really appreciate if you can share how did you manage to do the DEA with such large data....

I have data on health indicators with two outputs and two inputs acrosss states of India for three years. I am trying to run the mlmq command in stata and i am getting an error message stating that dmu is inrecognised. my stata does not allow me to save files in my program files (due to work related security issues). I can the mlmq.ado file in stata and its returning the following error message to me: variable i undeclared variable dmui undeclared (694 lines skipped) i used the provided data file as a test so it has the dmui and i variables. any idea what i'm doing wrong?...
