If you can program in C, you can help the project with plugins development

Decoder Plugins

Following decoder-plugins have strong demand:

TTA (True Audio Codec) decoder: can be rewritten using code provided on TTA project page

MPC/MP+ (musepack): source code should be on Musepack website

SHN (Shorten): source code should be found on etree.org

PSF: more information is in the Feature request #2999117

AAC/M4A: can be rewritten using faad2 (includes xmms plugin example)

NOTE: TTA/MPC/SHN/AAC are currently playable using FFMPEG as a fallback, though they lack gapless playback and other features

Output Plugins

JACK output plugin: Should be fairly straight-forward to implement.

DSP Plugins

Shoutcast/Icecast broadcasting

Artwork

If you are a graphics artist -- you can help us by creating better artwork and website design.

We need a logo and better desktop icon.
