Hello Adam, I downloaded the ddsteps 1.2-m3.jar file, it would be great if you can tell me that where I can find the character encoding API in the jar. Subject: Re: [ddsteps-user] Not able to read the excel sheet on z/OS Hi, you need to upgrade to the ddsteps 1.2-m3 milestone. It's really solid. There you can find a method that will allow you to set the character encoding with which to read text from excel. If you are editing your excel sheets on windows, you must explicitly tell the excel reader to use "ISO-8859-1" on outer platforms. It's cool to hear that ddsteps is going new places, because I don't think we have ever run it on z/OS... /Adam, ddsteps lead On 4 mar 2009, at 12.39, Sureshbabu Sabbu wrote: Hi, I am getting the problem with the DDSteps-1.1.jar when i ran our testers in IBM z/OS operating system. Basically the problem is like, it's not able to read the excel sheet and populate the data into the java beans of the tester. The values are coming as a null. But the same testers were passing successfully on the windows and AIX box. Please let me know if you have any pointers on this.
