the ./configure script's help says to use --ini-dir but it apparently really wants --ini-path. The same with --init-dir

The README says to go to this site for documentation, but the documentation consists of a few FAQs and a reiteration of the cli options. How about saying at least "run ./configure to install" somewhere, and listing (accurately) the options it wants.

It seems that the program requires PEAR, but it doesn't say so anywhere on this site. Is PEAR usually installed with PHP, or is my install odd?
