[Ddmodd-developers] art problem..

OK, heres the deal:

During the last two days, I have been doing some map editing. Everything
was going along just fine, until i realized that i had removed all the
humanoid sprites from the graphics section, because i thought we were
going to replace them.

So, i thought "thats easy, I'll just take the correct sequences out of
the original game, and add them to CVS, right?" guess how long it took
me to add _one_ merchant sequence: two hours. basically, CVS was playing
up.

So: heres my idea:

one weekend, I will completely wipe the CVS,and take the map files, and
re-create the dmod, using ALL of the original graphics. Then, when we
get some new graphics, we can replace the graphics from the original
game. What it will mean is that less graphics will be replaced, but it
also means that we can do something now, instead of waiting around for
new art :-)
