I'm glad I could be of service.  I just finished packagin the new
version and someone sponsored it for me, so it should be in Debian today
or tomorrow.  Also, is there an update for the ddccontrol application
itself?  If not I have a couple of Debian-specific changes that I was
waiting on to make sure I didn't waste my time if a new version was
coming out.
