[ddccontrol-devel] Status of next release

I just saw that gcc 4.1 became the default compiler for Debian Etch (the
 current testing and upcoming release).  I would like to get ddccontrol
in before the freeze (coming up in a few months).  I just wanted to
verify that when the version of ddccontrol is released it will build
cleanly with gcc 4.1.  I won't have time to personally test this for a
few weeks since I am finishing up my school and will be travelling to a
conference for a couple of weeks.

Though, I do have the package framework setup and if the new version
builds cleanly with gcc 4.1, then I will be able to get it uploaded
relatively quickly.
