The missing file - SAM01B6.xml - you can find in cvs repository: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/ddccontrol/ddccontrol-db/db/monitor/ Copy this file to /usr/share/ddccontrol-db/monitor/ and you will be able to control your monitor with ddccontrol.
