Hi,
It seems you are using an old version (0.2) of ddccontrol. You can get
the newest version via CVS from sourceforge, as described here:
http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=117933 ("modulename" is
"ddccontrol")
Please try to build this version, and report whether this works.
