Roozbeh Grayeli has rewritten the DDA for Windows web site hosted at http://dda.sf.net/. We welcome comments on how to make the site more useful for users.
Limerick --- DDA for Windows version 1.5.x --- release candidate 1 (RC1) has been released for immediate download and testing. Please post bug reports for RC1 as soon as possible. We plan on a final release by the end of July, 2006.
A subroutine is developed By Roozbeh and David to facilitate easier mechanism for reading data from AUTOCAD with .dxf format into the DDA code.
Roozbeh Grayeli is an engineer with an interest in working with DDA. He is currently interested in extending DDA to new constitutive relations for more accurate assessment of deformation. He lives and works in Iran.
I will be available for contract support work on DDA starting April 1, 2006. Depending on the level of support desired, I would consider compensation ranging from co-authorship credit to hourly rates. Thanks, Dave Doolin
The DDA project will be taking a vacation in
January 2005. Please feel free to submit bugs,
feature and support requests as usual.
Responses will be posted when the project starts
back up in February 2005.
Happy New Year!

Screenshots of DDA running some of the example
simulations have been added. It would be really nice
to have some screen shots from simulations conducted from other projects. Anyone interested
in submitting a screenshot from their simulations,
please email the maintainers.
The new release features a Windows installer.
Documentation is included in HTML Help
format. Some simple examples are now
distributed, many of these have been published
in journals and conference papers.
A general reference list for DDA articles published in refereed journals and conferences is now posted on the web pages at http://dda.sourceforge.net/refs.
References for the ICADD conferences will posted in the near future.
I have added MySQL database support for the DDA project. Please submit a request to be added to the database users list.
