#12 Unrecognized option error message

Good morning,
i have recently been using dc3dd. On the web, I found several software guides. Some of these suggest the use of conv=sync, noerror; or iflag; or even bs and iflag. When I use these options, I always get an "Unrecognized option" error message. Has anything changed in the software syntax? Thanks in advance for your reply.
