I did a reply in the ticket...

=> Please attach a minimal example which shows the crash. Attach it
here or in the ticket.

BTW: There's a tracker for bugs on sf.net. Because of this I didn't
notice the bug.

The issue happens in the example code (examples/hal/hal-listen).

I was not sure which tracker is being used currently. The sf.net tracker
was empty. So was the one on trac. Should I move this over to sf.net?
