Tried it out tonight on a SQLite file (v2.4.8), but nothing happened. I could load the file, but that was it. The About box says this is a test build, but I can't see any other download that is a working version. Not sure what I'm doing wrong!

Thanks for your info. My colleagues and I use the tool with MySQL and SQLite in our daily basis work and it works great (ie. all SQL commands are executed just fine).
Having said that, DBPlot certainly has some bugs and we really want more feedback from users. Could you give us some more details on what really happened. You don't see the list of tables? Missing the list of columns? Or you couldn't do any queries?
If you don't mind sharing your data, please attach the sqlite file here or send it to: hngo.opensource@gmail.com. It will help us pinpoint the issue much faster.
Thanks,
HNgo

Hi, I played with it a bit more and made some progress. It turns out that I needed to right-click the database entry and then choose "Connect". Once I did that, I could see the tables and data. I still can't plot it though, because it says it only plots CSV data, so I guess I'll have to wait a while longer before I can plot direct from SQLite files.
Any idea when that might be available?
Doug.

I tried to plot but I got a message saying that plotting directly from the dB file was not available. It said that plotting was only possible from a CSV file.
Is plotting direct from the dB file possible?
I'll send you a copy of the SQLite file so you can try it out on that.

The top panel is called Connection manager. You can select the data and plot it afterwards (directly from SQLite). The bottom panel is called the Report manager. Right now, the report manager supports only CSV files. If you just want to plot the data, you don't need to worry about the Report panel.
Hope it helps,

See my edit - I made some progreess....
Dough,
Can you select your data? (Right click, select data from the table).
If you can select data, you should be able to plot it. The feature is already there. I really need some time to work on the documentation.
