dbmstools 0.3.9 released

Version 0.3.9 of dbmstools is now available.

dbmstools is a set of utilities that understands database schemas (tables, views etc.) and DBMSs (Database Management Systems, e.g. Oracle). It is mainly intended for application developers who need to support schemas on more than one DBMS, or those who want to migrate a schema (possibly including data) from one DBMS to another. It also generates spiffy documentation for your schema, among other things. You can download the new release from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=165690 , or check out the home page at http://dbmstools.sourceforge.net/ .

This is mainly a stabilisation release. It contains numerous small enhancements and bug fixes. Oracle support in particular has improved noticeably, and handling of views by deltaddl is also better.

db2xml also gains the ability to export grants if required, for tables, views and sequences.

Enjoy ................. JD
