We just released our port of DBLX to the C# programming language. By supporting C#, DBLX can now be used on just about any computing device there is.
We made sure the code would run in MONO, so you can not only use C# with DBLX, you can use it on any platform you want! You can also use DBLX as an embedded database to run on Andriod or Windows phone.

Next up for the C# code will be a native ADO.NET driver. It will be released, with the source code, sometime in June 2015.

The future of DBLX has been planned, and we have a lot in store for the next year.
The current 2.2 release will be maintained in both languages, and we will release point fixes as any bugs are found. Expect DBLX 2.21 in Java and C# to be ready by July 2015.

The next release will be DBLX 3.0. This release will unify the two supported programming languages so that you can use DBLXClients in any language with DBLX in any language.
We also have a lot of performance enhancements planned, and we hope to make the memory footprint a little lower.
In the SQL realm. v.3.0 will support ORDER BY on multiple columns, and we hope to have new and enhanced SQL Functions.

Please keep giving us all your valuable feedback. We are using it to make DBLX better all the time.

DBLX is the database that is supported on everything from Servers to Smartphones.
With DBLX, you can put databases where you need them!
