#12 subscript, superscript = Undefined control sequence

Using dblatex-0.1.9, teTeX-3.0

If I use <subscript> or <superscript> in my DocBook
source, the result is a fatal TeX error Undefined
control sequence. I think the problem is the use of
\text{...} in dblatex/xsl/inlined.xsl. If I change
\text to \textnormal in the two templates in that file
(see below), the problem goes away. Or perhaps I have
something wrong in my TeX/LaTeX installation?
