Configuring DBIS

DBIS is configured in two places: on the client and in the LDAP directory. The client configuration is minimal, consisting of basic LDAP configuration, DBIS server tunables and logging configuration. The LDAP directory configuration is more extensive; it contains the schema, details of which maps are served from which location within the directory, object class/attribute remapping and transformation rules, and the map entries themselves.
