Hello: I just wanted to follow-up my submission about having trouble importing tables from Sybase. I have found the problem, fixed the problem and have DBGen working in my environment. The problem that I was having is that the Sybase database needs to have the Database MetaData Stored Procedures installed in the database. If these stored procedures are not installed the JDBC driver is not able to read metadata from the database. Once I installed the stored procs and got the correct connection information I was able to generate data objects. -don _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Hello: I have just downloaded and installed DBGen and I would like to try it out to see the Data Objects that it creates. I have a Sybase 11 database that has existing database tables in it and I would like to import them into DBGen. I have figured out the necessary connection parameters to Connect Data Source and that seems to work successfully because the Next> button becomes active. However on the next screen it asks me to select the Catalog/Database from a drop down. My problem is that the drop down is empty. Anyone have any idea on how to get this drop down to pick up the databases from my database? Thanks. -don __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
