[DBEStudio-Users] Changes description in TUC plug-ins for the new release (0.2.1) of the DBE Studio

Dear all,

I briefly describe the changes/new features in our plug-ins for the next 
release (0.2.1) of the DBE Studio.

1. kb-toolkit plug-in (version 0.2.1)
The plugin was upgraded to support the ODM to OWL-DL Exporter module
as well as the communication with new version of the KB service

2. Ontology Viewer plug-in (version 0.2.1)
Bugs fixed: Bug related with the refresh feature was fixed as well as 
the bug reported by Nieves related with importing OWL-DL ontologies
Features added:
    -support for importing OWL-DL ontologies in KB was improved
    -synchronize the Ontology Viewer when selecting the ontology tag in 
the BML Editor

3. BML Editor plug-in (version 0.2.1)
Bugs fixed: The bug item #1422365 and #1515787 reported by Andy Edmonds 
(Intel) were fixed
Features added:
    - Support for versioning from the BML Editor point of view. This 
functionality will be exploitable when the versioning mechanisms of the 
KB core service will be fully operational
    - show clearly the ontology tag when it is annotated in the BML Editor
    - synchronize the Ontology Viewer when selecting the ontology tag in 
the BML Editor

4. Ontology Analysis Tool plug-in (version 0.2.1)
Features added:
    - support for individuals
    - support for exporting of DBE ODM ontologies to OWL-DL ontologies
    - export ODM Ontologies as an xmi file in the local file system.

5. QFSDT plug-in (version 0.2.1)
Features added:
    - query templates can be also created using  ontology concepts
    - a cheat sheet added to guide users using the tool
    - templates can be edited
    - http proxy functionality added
    - query formulation GUI was changed to unify the query editing process

6. help plug-in
The help docBook documents for ODM and BML Editor updated.

The aforementioned functionality finalizes the foreseen technical work 
of tasks C47 "BML Editor", C55 "Ontology Creator/Importer/Viewer", C54 
"Query Formulation and Semantic Discovery" process".
