I get the error on connecting to the database that I don't have the license.jar file for use with DB2. I add the license.jar to the DBEdit classpath, but it doesn't help.
Anyone get past this?

I can only assume that you want to connect DB2 using the com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver.
If that is the case you may want to add
db2jcc.jar
db2jcc_license_cisuz.jar
db2jcc_license_cu.jar
to your classpath.
