#5 Standard plugin not found.

i've compiled and installed dbdesigner.
when i start it. a window poped up sais:

Cannot Start: unable to find the 'Standard' plugin.

then, what can i do, please??

    Set the environment variable KDEDIR to where your kde is
    installed (eg. /opt/kde or /usr/local/kde). It should work
    afterwards.

    I also have hit this problem. This is off the latest
    snapshot, and i get --

    QDir::readDirEntries: Cannot read the directory:
    /share/apps/dbdesign/plugins

    This should be /usr/share/apps...

    I am trying to figure out the but in the meantime
