I am using a 64-bit HP Pavilion (model h8-1210t). When I load up dban, and use the interactive interface, I notice 4 Unrecognized Devices and then my hard drive. When I try to actually use Dban to wipe the drive, I got an error message. I assume it is because of the unrecognized devices. When I go into the Bios settings to disable my extra SATA drives, I'm not sure which one to disable. There is SATA 0 - SATA 7 I believe, along with a Realtek Controller Device. I've also unplugged the card reader from my hardrive. I'm not sure what to do exactly. If you guys want, I can take a few pictures of my bios settings to help out. Thanks for any help.

That could help. You already did what i would recommend. Unrecognized devices are usually things like card readers, sata ports, or extra usb drives.
