what is best method

    in boot options, which one is best for format hard that anybody can't recovery my files?

    First of all DBAN does not format the hard drive - if that was the case, the data would stil be able to be recovered fairly easily. That's why you need to wipe the drive, not just format it. DBAN will wipe the drive. Selecting one of the quickest methods is generally good enough. The majority of the general public lacks equipment or knowledge to extract wiped data off of a hard drive. Of course, there are data recovery specialist who can extract wiped data depending on your selection. If you are worried that someone may go through extreme efforts to extract your wiped files, then use the more advanced wipe method. For most people, one wipe is good enough - even if you are going to wipe the drive and sell it. Your question was specific - so that no one can recover your files - for that to happen you need to select DoD level but it takes hours and hours depending on your hard drive size. I don't know many people that selects more than one wipe to clean a drive.

    I would recommend using the autonuke. Use the select last pass option to verify.
