#36 PC: wipe failure always

using IDE drives, sometimes SATA, on different machines, I get the same result. DBAN refuses to work no matter which version is chosen. If I remember right, it won't wipe - it just gives an error.
this is on PC's that are 1GHz AMD or intel or better.

    Please see ticket 2988662 for simple configuration options that may help. Also please update the manufacturer of the motherboard which is usually the cause your wipe errors.

    A lot of BIOS simply DON'T have that sort of option as described in that bug report. take Dell for example. the drive is either there or it's not. that's it.
    please fix the software.
