[DB2LaTeX-apps] Strings in db2latex file (translation)

Hello everybody :)

I hope I'm on the right list. I've just started translating the =20
db2latex file, but:

1. I've noticed that the text in the original English file, and the =20
text in the partly-translated Vietnamese file I've opened, don't match.

There are a lot of strings in the English file which aren't in the =20
Vietnamese file, and a few the other way around.

I don't want to go any further until I know what I should do. Does =20
this mean that my Vietnamese file is out-of-date in some way? Should =20
I copy all the English strings over to the Vietnamese file? I'm happy =20=

to start with a clean copy if that would help.

2. I don't understand how to translate this type of string:

   <l:context name=3D"title">
     <l:template name=3D"abstract" text=3D"%t"/>
     <l:template name=3D"answer" text=3D"%t"/>
     <l:template name=3D"appendix" text=3D"%t"/>
     <l:template name=3D"article" text=3D"%t"/>
     <l:template name=3D"authorblurb" text=3D"%t"/>

Is any translated text needed before or after the %t? What does the %=20
t mean in this context?

3. At the end of the file there is this line:

<l:context name=3D"htmlhelp">
     <l:template name=3D"langcode" text=3D"0x242a Vietnamese"/>

I haven't seen that code describing my language before. What does it =20
mean?

Thankyou for any help you can offer with this. I really want to get =20
this file translated, because db2latex is used in a lot of docs, =20
including the Debian Reference Card which I've just translated, and =20
in which the lack of a complete db2latex translation has resulted in =20
some untranslated terms. :(
