#203 Support for iOS 7

v1.0 (example)
ios (1)

Hi Mickael,

actually we're close on upgrading to iOS 7. As with the last iOS release (iOS 6) we first need support through DavMail to recognize iOS/7 user agent. I've attached a log file which should provide you with the necessary details.

Best regards,

Dominikus Nold

Indeed this is probably the same issue.
Good news is this is already fixed in subversion. I event tried to make the fix more generic this time.

thanks for the fix. I tried it but it doesn't sync calendars using CalDav method. Does the generic fix accept all versions of iOS agent or is there a full name required?

    I've attached another log-file.

Yes, however you didn't try with latest svn revision but with latest release, which does not yet include iOS 7 fix.

i have a Problem with davCal with the iOS-Version 7. I dont cant syncronize my Exchangeserver-Calenderinformation to my iPhoneCal. In the Verison 6 there was no Problemen to sync.

My davmail (exchange e-mail to iphone mailsync) runs perfectly only caldav with iOS have Problems.

    I have following settings:

    • openjdk java version 1.6.0_27
    • davmail version 4.1.0 2012-09-26

I try a update for openjdk6 to 7. Debian dont have 7 in his repos. Then i try java sun jre7u45. When i run update-alternate --config java and use jre.1.7.0_45 and start davmail too, he take a errormessage in the log: davmail nohub failed to run command /usr/bin/java

My second question, how i can upgrade davmail to 4.4.0? I dont find any HowTo for this doing and what must save before i do it.

caldav for iOS7 is now syncing!
    What have i do:

    • davmail 4.4.0 download
    • libswt-cairo-gtk-3.5-jni_3.5.1-2.1_i386.deb download

install first libswt and then davmail, now its finaly okay to sync my exchange-calendar to my iOS7 CalDav. All settings were available :)
