    Hi everyone,

I use Davmail with Thunderbird, and I need to access one public folder on our Exchange server.

I found at least one old message that demonstrates that public folders are accessible through Davmail, as long as you know where they are (i.e. under "/public/*"), but gave no concrete indication if this feature is actually usable with an email client.
I tried those suggestions in several ways in my TB but I couldn't find any way to make it work.

    Anyone else has any idea?

    Thanks
    Mauro

Well, public folders are technically available, but reliable support depends on another still not implemented feature: subscribe/unsubscribe

You can try to create a dedicated mailbox with a given public folder set in IMAP path to access a single folder.

I tried, but it didn't work - Thunderbird kept looking for the INBOX
      folder :-(

BTW, why is folder subscription/unsubscription support necessary? It
appears to me that it shouldn't be more necessary than with any regular
folder, and Thunderbird in that respect does a good enough job :-|

      Thanks
      Mauro
