I use Davmail on OSX Mountain Lion (latest), with Exchange server 2003. Each time I create a new iCal item I have to do it twice, or pause until it updates. So I would first create the item and select the calendar. Then I have to wait for the refresh to finish otherwise it will erase the subject or title. Then only after the update, I can enter the information in the item. If I do it in one-shot, then the update erase the content of the item.
Is there a way, or a setting I could change? I already tried to set the update to "manual" but that did not work. It still updates automatically.
Note that if there is not that is fine, it's still better then use Outlook for sure :-)
This is a regression in recent iCal versions, the new interface is just badly designed.
If I remember correctly you may be able to reactivate calendar list to be able to select the calendar before trying to create a new event.
