Hi Joshie, In order to compile DaVinci, you need to have the GTK development libraries installed on your computer. If you're using Ximian GNOME, the easiest way to do this is to use red-carpet and select "Subscribed Channels" -> "Ximian GNOME Desktop" -> "Install", and then under "Development", select all of the libraries you'll need. This includes "Gtk+ Toolkit" but if you don't have that installed, you likely don't have "libgnomeui32" or "libgnomeui" or a lot of other stuff installed either. -J On Sat, Sep 15, 2001 at 09:05:35PM -0500, joshie wrote: > i'd love to install but what's this error? and how can i fix. i'm a > newbie so, if you can, be very explicit or provide a link. > here's the error output: > could not run GTK test program, checking why... > The test program failed to compile or link.
