The DaveDAP Demo Site is looking for a new home where users can experiment before downloading. The current site ( http://nabbernet.net/~djsmith/davedap/ ) is running on a cable modem that needs to be freed up for other purposes. The site doesn't require much bandwidth, usually less than 5Mb per day. An LDAP server is optional though preferred. This version of DaveDAP is the most robust and stable release ever. With support for many new features, including jpegPhotos, creation templates, and password hashes, 0.8.2 will prove to be the LDAP admin's best friend. At least it is for me. DaveDAP has moved to a three-week release cycle, so expect many new features and bug fixeds in three weeks.
