Davfs2 adds executable permissions in two circumstances: to ensure
that directories are always executable and to apply mod_dav servers'
executable property. The attached patch modifies the way that the
permissions are modified so that execute permission is only conferred
when the item is readable. For example, a file with rwxr----- would
previously be made rwxr-x--x whereas now it will be made rwxr-x---.

It's still before 10AM, and my brain is not yet warm, but often you'll
want directories to be o+x,o-r, which allows a user to cd into it, but
not see the contents.
