I tried downloading this program, but couldn't encode anything; as soon as I opened a file ffmpeg crashed. I tried replacing the version of ffmpeg in the package contents with ffmpeg copied from ffmpegX, which got the program to start. however, I was unable to change video codec options (only set to "Copy Stream"), and when I tried to encode nothing happened.

Can you tell me which version of Datura you are using ?

I'm trying to solve the problem of Datura not working on Mac OS X 10.5. It seems that the ffmpeg binary embed is not correctly built.

Can you please try the last release (0.3.8) and tell me if it is working ?
