Version 1 was released quite some time ago. Small fixes has been submited since then and new little feats in solib until now.

1.0pre2 is most likely to be the last release before final 1.0. If there are no major cock-ups found, the 1.0 should be out in few weeks.
This pre-release includes multi page form support and better data validation checking.

I should have guessed this that pre1 to rc1 will take a half a year. However, many things did get changed and a lot better.
I start putting together dataxi-install-1.0rc1.tar.gz and updating example app to match the new changes. Please read the UPGRADE file before upgrading any existing Dataxi installation. --jq

Once again, nearly there. Many new features and improvements, including multi-page support for any form.
Please download the example package (tring.tar.gz) and read INSTALL.tring for quick setup procedure.

Finally, I am getting pretty happy with the system.
Major changes has happened after 0.9.9 and will happen before final 1.0.
I hope I can submit pre1 before 21.12.2002, or by end of the year anyway.

0.9.9 is out. More colors, less bugs. Demo site can be found at http://vepsi.laserle.fi/tring. If you encounter troubles using it, please let us know as there has been something dodgy going on with the example site. And always start a new session, when prompted so (otherwise you might interrupt others' testing) --jq

These includes critical bug fixes and it is very recomendable to download them (or all-libs or tring-with-all-libs).
New features include group limits for menus and menu entries (group=GROUPNAME,ANOTHERGROUP,...)

Just released 0.9.6 of Dataxi. Massive change log includes lots of fixes and new features.

This is probably second to last release before version 1.0.
The are just few features to be added that include better protect handling of columns, forms and fields.
Dataxi-form-HOWTO documentation is mostly done and a LYX version of it will most likely to be introduced before final 1.0, when an HTML version of it should be out.

Most important change: all comments are now done in JavaDoc style
New Dataxi release contains massive amount of changes - mostly improvements :-)

Dataxi is a database access system that uses a single form to query, view and modify data spread to one or more tables in a true relational manner.

- Major Dataxi fixes and improvements. Very close to 1.0 release.
- Due to PHP 4.2 and Apache, solib now includes some tweaks to work with both Apache 1.3 and 2, same thing with PHP 4.2 and prior 4.2.

Ok, this is the first release of solib, the collection of fuctions and classes for string manipulation, date/time handling, basic database access and the like.
solib has been proven rather stable and bugfree while developing dataxi and as dataxi depends heavily on this library, i thought it might be a good idea to release it before the actual crown code.
