DataVision 0.8.3 released

DataVision 0.8.3 is now available from SourceForge at
<http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=33343>.

DataVision (http://datavision.sf.net) is an Open Source reporting tool similar
to Crystal Reports. Reports can be designed using a drag-and-drop GUI. They
may be run, viewed, and printed from the application or exported as HTML, XML,
PDF, LaTeX2e, DocBook, or tab- or comma-delimited text files. The output files
produced by LaTeX2e and DocBook can in turn be used to produce PDF, text,
HTML, PostScript, and more.

DataVision is written in Java and uses JRuby to add Ruby scripting.

Changes:

* A new startup screen and logo, courtesy of Frank W. Zammetti. To see the
startup screen, start datavision without a report XML file on the command
line.

Bug fixes:

* The delete key now works, thanks to Frank W. Zammetti.

* Fixed a bug in error text handling that caused OutOfMemoryError exceptions
or bad output.

* Fixed a bug in the PDF layout engine that caused problems when the report's
title or author were null.

* Fixed a move-undo bug.
