Test Data in Distribution

The Test Data in the distribution I just threw in at the last minute and now realize it doesn't all work together very well. But if you get an error that doesn't allow you to import you need to do this:

1) Right click on the project icon at the top of the tree (looks like an I for input) and click on the defaults button and remove the "Source" filename and click OK.

2) Right click the output icon. I believe the item is called "Well Information" and select the schema file (test.sch or something) in your DataMonkey/TestData directory for the Output Schema Path.... read more

What is DataMonkey

DataMonkey is a product that was conceived with the idea of facilitating data exchange for Oil and Gas companies. The Petroleum industry has a world of data and a world of data formats. Many of these formats are very complicated involving records that span multiple lines (sometimes even multiple files). DataMonkey has no ties to the Petroleum industry other than its inspiration.

DataMonkey allows the user to easily define and reuse an Input Schema and an Output Schema. So for instance if a user needs to setup up several different input formats to import to a single output format or database, the Output Schema can be reused. The different import formats will need to be defined, then the fields can be "linked" via a drag and drop process from Input to Output fields.
