The File Renamer works, but is very complicated to use.

I would like to get a file name according to the pattern
[Series] - S[Season (leading zero)]E[Episode (nr) (leading zero)] - [Episode name]

but as uppercase letters, space, hyphen, ... are not allowed, I only manage to get this pattern:
[Series]s[Season]e[Episode (nr)][Episode name]

Moreover, it would be easier if I could type, move and delete in the Pattern field. Inserting text and patterns via right click can be very inconvenient for more complex patterns.

I have no idea how you could manage the "leading zero" part of numeric fields.

Also, an "instant preview" of one of the filenames would be nice, to directly see if my pattern would resolve right.
Tipp: Brackets [] are often used in film renaming. Perhaps % as pattern delimiters are more convenient.

Please have a look at the program MP3tag, they have a very sophisticated Filename->Tag extractor and Tag->Filename (bunch) converter.

I might not implement all your request but there are some very good ideas there.

This request has been open for a long time. Looking at my work list for other topics in Data Crow this request will not make it into the product in the foreseeable future.

    My apologies, Robert
