I use this version : datacrow_3_9_24_zipped.zip
First I do this :
Modules-->Create Module Wizard-->Property Module
Name : DescriptionKeys
And I create a Field : "Text Field, Single line"
Then I add this :
Modules-->Create Module Wizard-->Other Module :
Name : OneMore
Items represent actual files-->ON
And I create several fields, including this one :
Field Type : Reference Field, Multi-select
Referenced Module : DescriptionKeys
Then I add entries to the Property Module, using "Administration-->Maintain Keys-->Create Multiple",
each entry will have a color name in its "Name" field :
When I create an entry on the OneMore module (using the "Item Wizard"), I select a file, and a few entries from the Property Module, for example red, green and blue.
(to do this I use your window that have 2 columns : "Available" and "Selected")
I point a browser to the Web Server, and I see the result below, which is perfect, as the left column correctly displays "red, green, blue" :
Now I create a second entry, with green, blue and white properties.
I start the web browser again, and discover that the result is not correct anymore.
Here is what I SHOULD see :
2 entries (one should display "red, green, blue" in the left column, and the second entry should display "green, blue, white" in the left column)
Here is what I REALLY see :
5 entries, as you can see below :
When I click on them, I see that several entries have the same ID.
How may I fix this, please ?
I attach the log file to this message.
PS : it seems this message appeared in the "Plugin developer" forum, I should have clicked on "Data Crow user question".
I have found a solution to make it work !
Open this Menu : Settings-->Web Field Settings
Use the arrows on the right to change the position of the field that contains the value from the Property Module, make sure it's not the first one anymore.
Now the web page correctly displays 2 entries !
It also corrects the results from an advanced search, cool !
Do you think it's a bug, or a feature that I didn't understand ?
No, it's definitely a bug. But great that you found a workaround :)
I am planning on upgrading the web module within the next 2 months and will include this one then as well.
Do you think I need to add a bug report (Ticket) for this ?
I have logged a bug report, here :
