There are two different types of .cls files. The one assosiates data
with classes and the other assosiates neurons (map regeons) with
classes. (@fabian: maybe it would be a good idea to change the extension
for one of them. .cm for classmask?)

Could you send a sample of such a corrupted file? I guess it has to do
with windows vs. unix line brakes.
